Horse Characteristics

Each horse has characteristics that determine performance, race-style, and overall strengths and weaknesses during gameplay. We will provide a brief overview here but explain these in greater detail in the Stable Gameplay and Horse Development sections of this game guide.
Each horse has a set of parameters that impact how they race and improve over time.
There are three Core Attributes inside Owner’s Club, Speed, Stamina, and Acceleration. These are the three governing attributes in our race engine. These are increased (developed) through training)
Speed: Determines the maximum speed (miles per hour) that a horse is able to reach during a race. The higher the speed, the faster the horse is around the track.
Stamina: Determines how long a horse can maintain its maximum speed. The higher the stamina, the longer a horse can maintain its top speed.
Acceleration: Determines how quickly a horse can reach its maximum speed. The higher the acceleration, the quicker it comes to its full speed.
"Skills" are special abilities that horses learn by racing in Owner's Club. Each time a player races, they earn Skill Points that can be applied to horses for them to develop new capabilities.
There are 11 Skills that horses can learn inside the Owner’s Club. Players can choose which skills they would like to invest points in. Each skill impacts the horse differently and can work together or against a horse's natural genetic tendencies. So, players must carefully choose where they would like to spend skill points.
All horses inside Owner's Club are born with inherited Genetic Traits. They inherit traits via their parents and bloodline. Traits are governed by one of the three core attributes in Owner’s Club.
Horses unlock traits by improving a trait governing attribute (Speed, Stamina, or Acceleration) to levels 60, 70, 80, and 90. Once a trait is unlocked, its effect will be applied to the horse.
Horses are able to unlock up to 4 traits per governing attribute (12 total traits).
All horses inside Owner’s Club have three Dynamic Attributes: Happiness, Energy, and Conditioning (shown in order in the image below). Players must manage all three of these Dynamic Parameters to ensure that their horse is racing to its full potential.
If any of the three dynamic parameters is below 90, the player can expect a decreased racing performance.
In the Stable Gameplay section, we outline how these critical dynamics parameters are utilized and restored.
It is critical to keep your horse in tip-top shape for racing.
