Players wanting to race instantly can join a pending lobby and compete against other players in both 1v1 and team-format races. Players can challenge other competitors in the lobby, where similar horses are suggested as matches to aid in forming a competitive race. Once finished click "Enter Race." You will need to think quickly, because you only have 40 seconds to complete your entire team's setup.

Hosting Multiplayer Racing

Choosing the "Team Size" will determine whether you are hosting a "Match Race" or a "Team Race". Match races are always 1 owner-player vs 1 owner-player, but CPU AI horses can be added to make the racing more exciting and difficult.

The host player will choose:

  • Surface - race on either Dirt or Turf

  • Condition - Different conditions will be offered to the player based on whether they have chosen dirt or turf as a surface. The conditions available are

    • Dirt: Fast or Good

    • Turf: Firm or Good

  • Distance - any race distance of 5, 6, 8, or 10 Furlongs

  • Stake - Silver Coins stake in the amounts of 1K, 2.5K, 5K, 7.5K or 10K

Match Racing

The host player will also be able to choose up to 12 AI CPU Horses to run against the two players in the race. The purse will go to the player whose horse wins the race. In case the AI CPU Horses win, the purse will go to the player whose horse comes in ahead of the other player's horse. The host may also elect to include no AI CPU Horses in the race, creating a true 1v1 match race.

Team Racing

The host will also choose a "Team Size” of 3 or more horses (up to 7) and this team of horses will run in competition with the same number of horses from the other player. In team racing the purse is divided among the two players based on whether the purse will go to the player’s horse that comes in ahead of the other player’s horse

Team Horse Setup

Once you join a team race (as either the host or guest) you have to choose and setup your horses for the race. You choose each horse from your stable that you want in the race, and add them to the team. You can also let the system choose for you by selecting "Auto Match."

Difference between Multiplayer and Public Races

Multiplayer races are set up and participated in by other players. The key differences are:

  • Multiplayer races must contain at least two player-owners.

  • One player-owner (host) user must configure a race to be joined by other players.

  • The host determines entry fees.

  • Hosts have the option of including AI CPU Horses inside match races against another player.

  • Team racing is available in this race mode, so players can enter multiple horses to race against horse’s or rival players' horses. Effectively creating a Stable vs. Stable race.

Once you select your team you will need to go through and select the tactics, equipment, and buffing for each horse. Please see our section above "" and "Equipping Your Horse" for more details.
