Breeding

Players can develop or manage a horse’s genetic traits and preferences through breeding.

We are purposely keeping our breeding system and how it works under wraps until we get closer to public release. It is a realistic and critical part of our ecosystem. But it is better for players to fully understand our horses and their parameters, development, and racing before opening up breeding.

Players will use breeding to:​

• Increase the maximum potential core attributes of each generation of horses​. A player can create a horse with higher core attributes than their existing horses by breeding one of their horses with another person’s horse with higher attributes.​

• Concentrate on certain traits and preferences that help their horse specialize in certain races.​ This includes the ability to cross-breed between bloodlines and create new concentrations of traits and preferences. ​

• Increase the probability of having a champion horse.​

Breeding is expected to be an appealing gameplay element for users who wish to explore the ecosystem beyond its core offerings. Breeding enables new strategic dimensions of the game for those who wish to develop their own stable in a more specific manner than may be available through the marketplace as well as ways for players to monetize their existing racehorses.

Some additional disclosures about breeding:

• Breeding is restricted to NFT horses and occurs in Owner's Club web-based breeding market.​

• The new horse’s Genome and Phenome will be determined by combining its parent's genetics using a complex genetic algorithm. The core components are:​

  • Genome Defines: Potential of the horse's Core Attributes, Power of each Trait, Horse's Rank and related parameters

  • Phemone Defines: Horse's Speed, Stamina, and Acceleration tunes, Trait Branches (which traits will be in each slot of a horse's trait matrix), Visual Features - base color + markings.

• All breeding fees will be paid for exclusively with the IGG Gaming Token, and a percentage of this will be reallocated to the community treasury.
